Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones is a British actress and producer, best popularly known as her stage title Suranne Jones. Her fame has been built by playing the role of Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama "Scott & Bailey', and G.P. Gemma Foster in the medical drama "Doctor Foster". Jones originated was born in Chadderton situated in Greater Manchester, joined Oldham Theatre Workshop where she received the BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. In a stage production of Wait Until Dark, she appeared as Gloria aged eight. She made her debut on screen in 1997 as an actor in an episode on "Coronation Street". In 2000, she was reintroduced on the soap opera to play Karen McDonald. After she left the ITV soap opera the show, she appeared as a variety of roles on TV shows such as 'Vincent "Strictly a Confidential," and the 'Harley Street'. Also, she played on big screens in films such as 'Love and a Long Shot,' 'Broken Hearts,' and 'A Christmas Star.
